Sixth & I
CANCELED: Dancin’ In the Street: A Simchat Torah Celebration
- This event has passed.
In light of the events in Israel this morning, our original Simchat Torah program is now canceled, but we will still gather together tonight in community to mourn and to pray for healing, for the de-escalation of violence, and for peace. Click here for details and to RSVP.
All Simchat Torah ticket buyers will automatically be refunded early next week. With questions, contact Molly.
Simchat Torah, which means “Rejoicing in Torah,” is the day when we gather together to celebrate the Torah and renew ourselves as we begin the cycle of reading from Genesis once again.
We’re shutting down I Street for our signature Simchat Torah celebration. Let loose and dance like no one’s watching as you enjoy live music, themed cocktails, and other festivities led by Sixth & I’s rabbis and musicians. Tickets include admission, drinks, and light refreshments.
No one will be turned away from any of our programs due to lack of funds. For more information, please contact our Jewish Life Assistant Director, Sara.
