Interfaith Couples Workshop
This is a four-week discussion-based course designed for couples in their 20s and early 30s who do not yet have children. The workshop is held four to five times throughout the year. This cohort meets on Wednesdays, August 7, 14, 21, and 28 from 7:00 – 8:30 pm.
Rabbi Aaron facilitates a guided, nonjudgmental space for Jews and their non-Jewish partners to talk, learn, and grow–together and as individuals. The workshop will address timely issues for couples like navigating the holiday season together and how to approach hard conversations around the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the war in Israel/Gaza.
Each week the class discusses case studies, written by the couples, on a specific instance that the Jewish and non-Jewish partner felt raised questions in their relationship. Text studies and articles supplement the class. Couples should make time for an additional hour each week to discuss the case studies with their partners.
No one will be turned away from any of our classes due to lack of funds. For more information, please contact our Jewish Life Associate, Eve.
