For more than a decade, DeVotchKa has been melting its sweeping collection of influences into an authentic and totally original blend of rock 'n' roll. With the release of the band's fifth album, 100 Lovers, the band headed back to the romantic influences of the Arizona desert to create a compendium of short stories inspired by the varied moments the band experienced since the release of A Mad & Faithful Telling.
In 2006, DeVotchKa lent its music to the Oscar-nominated Indie film, Little Miss Sunshine, for which it received a GRAMMY nomination for Best Soundtrack. Since, the Denver band’s stock has been on the rise, appearing at practically every major music festival, from Coachella to Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo to Glastonbury. With the new album, DeVotchKa have achieved success carving their own singular sound out of the worlds of rock, opera, theater, dance, and film. |

Admission: |
Tickets are $35 and can be purchased on Ticketmaster.com, by calling 800.745.3000, or visiting Sixth & I Monday - Friday between Noon – 3:00 pm ($1.00 fee per ticket for Sixth & I Box Office purchases). On the night of the event, will-call and ticket sales will end at 10:00 pm. No one will be permitted to enter the event after that time. All seating is general admission. Doors open at 7:00 pm.
